Removing rear centre head restraint

Folks,

I'm really keen on removing my rear centre head restraint, but I'm having real trouble getting the right side (it's right side) to move at all...

I'm doing it right according to the manual, but it is a no go.

Anyone had a similar issue? any advice??

You can't remove it, only the outer two but you have a 2006 IIRC and I think the early ones where they had the bigger centre headrest could be removed?

Thanks Mav.... Mine's an '05 but it has a small headrest in the middle... it has the little unlock button but the damn thing won't budge.... I think I'll just treat it as a non-removable headrest....it's not too intrusive in the RVM... I was looking for the 4 seater look more than anything else really.

mine too, have even asked service dept and they say middle wont come out... fah get about it. might have something to do with ergo/encap design and obstruction of view. kinda defeats the purpose of having one if middle passenger is over 4 ft tall ish.
