Problem...

Hey guy's just a few question's regarding my front door passenger side.

every time i unlock my car (using remote) all four door open just fine no problem.
but as soon as i start the car, front passenger door wont open but booth rear door is fine. until i press the unlock button on the driver side, that's the only time it unlock.

now i just realize this now, but not sure if this has always been like this or could there be a problem with my door. Im just wondering if anyone has had this problem before!?

Sounds like either a faulty ignition switch or door lock.

I had a similar problem with mine last year; the doors would unlock fine, lock as programmed when I went above the set speed but then would constantly lock and unlock as I was driving (that was the faulty drivers door lock). At the same time, I would park my car in the garage with the window down, take the key out and rest it on my dash. About an hour later I would hear music coming from my garage (which scared the **** outta me when I was home alone) and it turned out the ignition switch was sending signals to the radio even without the key inserted.

If you can, get someone with a VCDS and run for faults, see if any of the electrics come up. Good luck

Sounds like an anti hi-jacking system. As Maca said, get someone with VAGCOM to have a look at any faults. If no faults, do some research and maybe there is a VCDS code you can use to change the programming of the locks.
