Sometimes I have the stereo on and the engine sound can be a little muted especially when cruising. Changing up isn't the problem. It's changing down. It pulls so well in 6th and 5th gear that I sometimes think I'm in 4th, so I only click once down for 3rd and then realise I've only clicked down to 4th from 5th, which was too high a gear for that corner. I tend to glance at the rev needle now instead to figure out how many gears to downchange if I'm in a rush but I'm still getting used to the shift points and ratios.
