    Also noticed similar problems with ours, wasnt sure if it was just the box or not, but it could probably be what its learnt. Seems to be pretty aggressive with its downchanges, go to take off, only give it what seems like a little throttle and it drops back a couple of gears really quickly, suddenly doing 3500-4000rpm which is kinda pointless. Need to find another qld vw owner in my area, split the cost of the vagcom package

      lol - that resets your throttle boddies i was told - but you dont need to hold down the gas pedal, just ignition and wait 30 secs, the noise is actually comming from the engine department

        DSG reset

        I did the '30 seconds' thing. Not sure what it actually resets but it resulted in the car being much more responsive to the throttle...
