Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Very nice looking Mk5 - saw it yesterday in the snapriot website too! I'm wondering if that's a stock colour? I just saw a Beetle today rocking that colour, but that's the only example I've seen.
        Past: Mk3 Golf 2L 8V, Audi 8L A3T.
        Present: Mk3 Golf variant.

I remember reading the article and he was saying that is wasn't a factory colour in the mk5 but one in the beetle colours thats where the colour is from.

I don't mind it the car was pretty stock apart from coilovers, wheels and exhaust I think.

I think the R32 makes most colours look good.

R32 is here and sounds awesome, loving the throttle blips on the down changes.
