TDI Golf Oil Service

I had the service done yesterday @ $200. The oil $95, filter $17, labour $64 + GST. So there you go. Must be a special oil?!

I'm sure the car appreciates it and I believe that the motor sounds sweeter.

Thats pretty fair. Good oil may cost you about $80 from an acc shop.

The "good oil" is VW 504/507. Does your receipt specify what oil was used ?

I feel much better about it. I mean the time was....when I would do my own oil changes, but with this motor, I don't touch anything. How times change.

Yes the invoice specifies 504/507 [had a Peugeot 504 once ... what a comfortable machine ... trips down to the Snowy ... nostalgia, let it go!]
