Hey All. Long time lurker, Second time poster (first in introductions). I have 16x7inch rims with a 50 offset. What am I limited to? Can I put 225/50/16 tyres on my TDi Golf? It seems it's the offset that is the real limiting factor. I'm also looking at tyre options (brands/models - suggestions). First thing though is the size. I've searched and have not been successful in finding this info, though there seems plenty for larger rims/wheels. Cheers

For any that are interested now or later, advice I've received from another forum is that 225/50/16 tyres will fit 16x7ET50 rims on Diesel Golf Mk5 (with no modification)
