finally got my plates just wondering if anyone has mounted their plate under the headlight rather than in the usual place? And if so any pics?

I guess it could be done if you don't want to drill holes in the grill.

I'll have a play around with it.. plates are black on white so it suits the rear being on the white bar.. but just thought it would look better mounted on the white section on the front bumper stead of the black, GTI grilles look so good plateless.

I don't mind it off to the side as shown in the pic - initially I thought you were talking about mounting the plate vertically somehow
Slightly OT: does the R32 not come with a bonnet liner like the GTI or is that an aftermarket on the GTI?
