  • Help required for MK5 jetta lowering

Hi guys, I want to lower a 2009 jetta but i am unsure how to go about it, so i need some help.

Now it's my partners everyday driver so we don't want to go to the extent of coilovers or anything that extreme. I was thinking in the line of just some sport springs to bring it a touch closer to the 18's it will be rolling on. I have been reading alot of forums about the eibach and H&R springs but then read about installing GTI springs.

So my qeustion is if i was to get a hold of some GTI springs, do i have to change the stock dampers? Or am i better to look into the eibach or H&R springs and again do i have to change dampers with either of them?

Also which option would sit the lowest and what would i be looking at price wise for either of the 3 options?
