Looking much nicer with the black mirrors and black grille now compared to the shiney ones Jarek! But you know thats the style i prefer

I know you like your cleaning products so get something on those front fog grilles to reblacken them! Everything else looks so clean so they stand out.


In regards to the springs. Thats a strange one. These springs were innitially installed on golfworx brothers Golf GTI and the result was the following ride height. Not sure why but Jareks car just doesnt seem to have settled to the same height. Maybe its possibly the profile of the tyres being more round on the smaller rims? Im not so certain though. The porsche rims did sit very flush.

I have blackened my fog grilles, i cant believe i didnt notice that thanks for pointing it out.

yeh the springs havent settled any lower than in the pictures, im baffled as to what it could be

I just noticed the mirror indicator lenses.. what did you do to those? is it a tint of some sorts? Looks colour coded in one of the pics but is probly just a reflection

Yeh i tinted them using nightshades, yeh i think the color is just from the reflection.

Will look amazing with some BBS's with purple trim. Looks bad with stock rims.

That paint reminds me of the purple chameleon paints that were popular in the early to mid 90's and then became really uncool lol.

Looks great, always nice to have something different and stick out from the other 10 million GTIs on Australia roads! Definitely a drop in ride height with a darker rim and it would look top notch

When I first saw pics when the car was being painted I will admit I didn't like it at all! I now have to eat my words! It looks absolutely brilliant. You will not loose it in the carpark thats for sure!! So distinctive, hopefully you can bring it to SEDF. OH- AND PURPLE BRAKE CALIPERS would look sweet!

Too low in the front. You don't want to make it look gangsta/cheap.
Otherwise, I think it looks ok.

have you coloured the VW badges front and back or is that just the lighting? looks nice. not too keen on the LEDs but each to their own.

hopefully, i'll see you on the road and get an in person look. oh, the rear bar looks the bit too
