  • CAI duct for front bar

Not positive if ive seen this or dreamt it, but im after a duct for my LH front so i can connect a 3" hose that feeds directly into my air box

Guess pictures will make more sense..

    Current:

So after somthing that resembles a foglight fitting without the foglight and has to fit in behind current "plastic fin guard" in a r32 bar

    Does it exist?

    Have tried

Nath you can get the "R-line" fog covers which look exactly like ours with with a hole for a foggy.

these are the only ones that i have ever seen. But they come as a stupidly expensive kit.

I dont think the R-line grilles fit an R32 bumper.

I think that if you wanted to do this your best option would be to source a nicely sized bellmouth. Paint it flat black to match the finish of the plastics and get trimming.

I reckon the bell muth pic I posted would work fine behind the 'R' grill

thanks Tim for the link, but purchasing a set of foglights may be a little over the top for what i want

T - thats prob where i have seen the idea before, its what im after..

Now to see if i can source some locally to see if compatible - are they OEM?

I've just bought a pair of those from EBS tuning, and they landed at about $150 Au from the USofA. Looks way better on the GT. I have my old GT ones hanging around if you want to just try one, but then I've cut the backing out of the right hand side one.....bars only kinda deal. The spotlight hole is totally intact though.

as mentioned already. I believe they do not fit as the bottom vent is a different shape on the R32 bumper.
The outer edge widens at the bottom on the R32 vents whereas the standard golf is narrows at the bottom
