Volkswagen Extended Used Car Warranty

Just wondering if anybody has purchased one of these from the Dealers and is so how much do they cost.

There is an existing thread on the forum; there is a VWWC forum offer (very good discounted prices) from Jaz Hokin at Southern Classic Cars, Wollongong.

Rather than throw a number out for a particular model, just search for the thread, or get the Southern Classic Cars pone number and Jaz will give you a quote on the phone and sell you one.

I all ready have had on my 2004 FSI Comfortline the Extended New Car Warranty which is about to expire and after having replaced Head gasket,Rear tailgate lock,water pump,interior door switches , air bag light malfunctions, ect all in the extended new car warranty period I was looking at a further extension ie VW Extended New Car Warranty (I think a got the Monday morning or Friday afternoon car out of South Africa)

You think your car has had problems, so far my 07 tdi has had the starter motor, 1 engine, 2 turbo's, exhaust system, water pump x 2, cruise control, flywheel, clutch and recently using the extended warranty the air compressor and condensor replaced.

I've only got extended warranty for another 60k then i think I will be getting rid of it.
Definately worth getting the extended warranty.

digging up an old thread again..

The dealer I got my used Jetta TDi from is about 1 hours drive away during business hours.
I don't mind the drive, but I think they are also a bit expensive for servicing.. well more than the euro specialist just down the road who is a real good guy..

Question is should I void my 5 year used car warranty with the dealer (another 3 years left) and start saving some $$$ and Time on servicing or keep it up for the duration of the time I own the car?

Is the dealer used car warranty ever going to be worth anything ? (now that I have bluefinned my car.. chances of something happening could be higher?)
