    i did find this:

seems to be a possibility.. would be nice it was in english though..

dont want an R32.. i much prefer my TDi
I quite like that grill. I don't think you can have the Jetta/R32 grill without changing the whole front bar first so perhaps this grill is the way to go. I think it classes the Golf up but not in a "everyonelookatmeblingbling" way.

Maybe you should keep your ear out at wreckers for a Jetta front end.

The bumper will be silly expensive. But a GTI/GT/Jetta bumper are all the same. They differ on the inner lower lip. The grille with a badge is like $550 new.

All the bottom about $20 - $50 locally. I had to replace them when I "bumped" a roo.

I like that grille as well.
          Looks quite classy.

I'm just wondering how well it goes with certain colours though. It might look a bit out of place on silver, but look awesome on grey/black.

Hmm I might do some hunting and see if anyone has any Golf/Rabbit pics with the chrome grille.

Benough's right - keep your eye out for a 2nd hand Jetta front (or bits there-of).

You can also keep your eye out on the various Golf, Jetta forums in their classified sections. ie Watercooled, Vortex, jettamkv, uk-mkivs.net

The R32 front could be harder and more expensive to source.
If you go the Golf/Jetta direction, you have the option of using a variety of grilles/bumpers, shields, valences &c as they're pretty much interchangeable with each other (a few exceptions).

There's a ton of these conversions done in the UK and the US, so you'll find a lot of info out there.

Me too - but at about a grand (for bumper, lower trim, grille upper & lower), the genuine R-line front is out of the question...

The look pretty good and for that price they look fantastic! Although I wouldn't go all the way with the lower grill IMO, just chrome up the top one

i agree that chrome in the top grill only will be enough, very reasonable price for the upgrade as well!

Hey sage, I'm with you on wanting to individualise the TDI, but don't want to be seen as a try hard GTI or R32, as cool as they do indeed look!

I've ordered some R line fog light garnishes from ECS, and also want to do something with the U shaped garnish the plate is bolted to, more for the Euro number plate holder holes than anything else! Can't see chrome or carbon fibre in my car's future though, so still looking....

Good luck with it mate and big up the TDI customization. Perhaps drop Larry TGT20 a line as he has possibly one of the most modded TDI's I'm aware of cosmetically!

I recall a bloke doing a write up on a change from standard to Jetta front.
I think it was on golfmk5 forum.

This change over would have to be Euro not US ??
