Aha Thanks. MK6 has a temp gauge there. But it occurred to me that it might be possible with a Vag-Com coding change to make my gauge look at boost instead of temp. Will investigate this but highly unlikely I suppose.
Anyone got a VCDS cable lying around who could do a scan of their MK5 twincharger Address 17: Instrument to see what coding is in there?
Mine has Coding: 170B00
I appreciate that there are numerous reason for differences but as a start I would like to see whats there on MK5 twincharger.
Yeah that because its a % gauge and not a pressure gauge. It is supposed to show the % of available boost in use at any point which varies throughout the map. I have all the numbers I could possible want in VagCom. It just appealed to me to try to get it to work for the hell of it - to see if it can be done.
