I'm thinking of doing a ECU flash on my TDi Jetta and want to know what you guys recommend and what are the pros and cons of doing it? I do have a few questions. Do I lose my manufactures warranty? What is a good brand to go with and does it get rid of the delay when you take off from a standstill with the DSG?

It will void your manufacturers warranty.
It probably wont fix the delay as all automatic cars have the initial lag, but it will pick up and move quicker when you do get rolling.
Oettinger do a reprogram for the TDI engine.
Just google your car and ecu/chip and you will find heaps of info.
This will be relevant to you:

I've had it done and love it!
