  • Facelifted Jetta

Apparently there is a facelifted Jetta on the market here sometime in Nov 2009. Has anyone heard any info?

The only pic i could find is of the interior where there seems to be some Golf VI items added (steering wheel, climate control and stereo)

I read and heard about this as well. I'm thinking that we would've seen some sort of spy shots or something if the release is so close...

The facelift will almost certaily be interior upgrades using Mk VI golf bits in order to get rid of the last production run of Jetta's before the new model comes out in 2011.

It may include GLI/Edition 30 bits from the US but i doubt it.

Oohh... maybe there'll be a 4Mo Jetta like the MKIV Bora?

Am excited that a new MKVI Jetta is coming but sad at the same time that mine will be superseeded

          Face lifted Jetta

I have a new Jetta on order. which is due to arrive in the next 2 weeks apparently on a ship which docked on 22/10. I think there will changes although I'm not sure what. Some things I do know are that front fog lights are no longer avaliable and you can no longer get a manual diesel. the manual is only in the 118 tsi. But when I get mine I will let you know if it has any changes.

My Jetta is Platinum grey, leather, sat nav, 18" charlestons manual 118 tsi.

            No facelift.

From what I've read in the media; I believe this to be just MY10 upgrades as mentioned above with the new interior.

Looks like an updated overhead console and instrument cluster as well...

I remember reading on Wikipedia (how reliable) that the Mk6 will be marketed in a lower-cost sedan category instead of being simply a "Golf with a boot".

new interior is nice and I am happy for there to be no external changes until the all new model arrives. Keeps my Jetta fresh for a bit longer

I think that the Jetta has such a classic shape, therefore there will be no changes made to the exterior.
Will continue as -is until the Jetta 6 arrives in 2011.
Cant wait to get one then...

I really like the instrument cluster on the Mk5.5 (So it will be called?). Other than that, I don't think the Mk6's internals suit the existing Jetta. Perhaps because I'm use to it, but that's how I see it
