  • Pirelli Defi Boost Gauge problem

    Hello,

I just got a Defi Boost Gauge installed with the OSIR Pod and originally it was running fine but now it seems to be acting up.

    - When driving the boost gauge doesn't show anything, just sits on 0 psi.
    - The MFD shows a higher fuel consumption usage then normal, on the highway it reads 11-12L/100km instead of a normal 7.5-8.5L/100km
    - After a drive the engine doesn't idle properly, it will idle at roughly 800 rpm and then it will spike to 1300 rpm and drop back down to 800 rpm repeatedly.

It was installed by a trusted workshop, I no doubt blame the company I just think there might have been a slight mistake. Their workshop isn't open until Monday so I was thinking I could just get some opinions on what might be wrong?

Car is a Golf GTI Pirelli, everything else is completely stock.

    Cheers

Sounds like a boost leak to me, check the connections where they tapped the gauge into. Unless the gauge is fully electronic (Defi) then I dont know...
