Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

how much gain are we talking here? A look at the Harding webisite claims power of 157.4 kw atw (209kw atfw) and 380nm torque with the headers and sofwatre mod.

Is this the one you got?

yep, the fly wheel figures seem about right, as the drivetrain loss is approx. 30%.

I haven't looked into it but was a day apart, may not have been set up properly, who knows. The intake probe was down near the fogs where the hole is for the cold air intake..

Still served the purpose as a quick before and after, but perhaps the ecu hadn't adjusted properly as I went for the second one immediately after the headers were put on. Similar thing happened when I put te stock airbox back on- the mfd said I had 20km left but ran out.

Hey T, didn't think to do one when I first got the car but Guy has plenty of stock runs of R32's. Probably should have but always takes a bit of effort and money to get too many dynos.
