Tire Rack can't ship BBS to Aus !!

I contacted Tire Rack this week about a set of BBS rims to buy and Gill from Sales said that BBS will not allow any retail sales outside North America !!

I am waiting to hear if this applies to any other brands but I imagine BBS is trying to protect sales in Aus ( and other markets ) due to the weak U.S dollar. Has anyone else had this problem ?
Any other places I could check out for a set of BBS CK's ?

i know jaxquickfit.com.au are an Australian distributor of BBS wheels but pretty sure it'll be more expensive but worth a look tell me how the prices are

i THINK redline might help, not too sure since they are based in America but they have helped a few Aussie GTI owners with wheels.

Use an Agency in USA like this one as an example http://www.priceusa.com.au/ to purchase parts in USA and then they ship to you.

Tire Rack have happily quoted me shipping costs for OZ Ultraleggera's to my place.

Spoke to Jax today, BBS CK $770 per corner !! i knew it was going to be allot from these guys.
Tire Rack has got no restrictions on any other manufacturer, I am tempted by OZ but will prob use one of the freight forwarding companies listed in previous post's for a set of CK's.
