What's the difference between the MY08 and MY09 Jettas? Seeing as they're technically both Mk5s, I'm curious to see what parts are interchangable and what not.
I know the HU is different, and possibly a DPF for the TDI models?

CR with DPF instead of PD in the diesels....that's all I know...
Cheers, I didn't know the MY09 had the CRD. That would be way more efficient over the MY08, I remember driving a Mk6 down the highway and was utterly shocked at the consumption I was getting.
Do you have the cruise control where you can set the exact speed? And do you have the digital speed readout??

The 1.4 TSI replaced the 2.0 FSI models, and all models had their badges stuck onto the right hand rear, opposite the JETTA badge.
Burgandy and Wheat Beije were dropped,Red and Silver leaf were introduced.

Best to check the VWA site for fuel consumption but I don't think there was
any difference in fuel consumption from PD to CR.
From memory the Mk5 Jetta TDI with PD was factory average of 5.8l/100
Reflex Silver has always been a signature Jetta colour Maca, but the Silver Leaf is new,and is a mixture between Reflex Silver and Wheat Beije.
I think it looks good, have seen a few of them in this colour, including one with Cream leather seats...very classy indeed.
There's meant to be little difference in fuel economy between PD & CR. I noticed from the outside the CR has less "clatter" but whoopiee.
Other changes with MY09 include automatic hill assist (works well...brakes off, holds for 2secs then creeps) & I think the heated mirror spot on the switch is positioned differently (mine 12o'clock).
