    Great article and it again validates loading and unloading in bursts plus no running at constant engine speed.

    This brings me back to what exactly do VW do when they "bench test" their engines? The dealers reckon they break them in on the bench, however I don't think that they would allocate that sort of time to do it. Does anybody actually know? Phaeton...You're the Great Reader...Have you read anything? Syncro....You're the Facts Man...Can you shed any light on it?

      LOL - nah i did get the glaze (only got a discount after some serious time bargaining with those ppl!) but got the window tinting at half price from out of it also.

      Mind you, the pic was taken on a 38 degree day!! HOT HOT HOT!!
