    Mate honestly that is way to long. Unless it is something that is under major backorder (on a new car it shouldn't be that long) If you can tell me what part it is you are waiting on I can contact parts and see what the hold up is.
    People supposed problems cause phantom problems. If your really unlucky, you'll find symptoms of something that isnt there either.

      I am currently having some issues with waiting on parts as well.

      My R32 had a radiator hose split a bit over a week ago, the dealer didn't have any in stock and was told it would take between 1 to 6 weeks to get the part in.

      The dealers were good and got me into a loan car straight away, but still frustrating having to possibly wait up to 6 weeks for a radiator hose.

      I understand the dealers and VW wanting to keep their running costs at a minimum but surely you would think that VW would hold certain parts to prevent situations like this, would be cheaper than having one of their cars out as a loaner for up to 6 weeks with one customer.
