Is there supposed to be a cup holder divider that doubles as a bottle opener for the mk 5 GTI?

Whenever I have seen the Golf including at the dealers, the centre console storage has a bottle opener shaped mould with nothing in it. Is this where it is supposed to go?

Yep. GTI come standard with one but a lot were "borrowed" out of the cars it seems.

They should give you the bottle opener with the log book at time of delivery.

Mine came with a plastic one and bought a stainless steel one from ebay as well. If it's not there then someone else has knocked it off.
