Jetta Question - Colour Coded front skirt.

I have noticed a few Jetta's have a colour coded fron skirt, under the front of the bumper.

I looked on the VW website and noticed in the brouchure the 147TSI models have it on the photo.

Then I looked at the "Front Spoiler" in the accessories section and it's colour coded but has some ugly front splitter in it.

So is this the case? All 147 TSI Jettas come with a colour coded front skirt?

If so I want the part number/VIN number for one so I can buy a factory colour coded front skirt for my GT and not pay a smash repairer to do it.

Unfortunately the part comes primed, not painted. I can't give you the part number (coz i don't know it) but when I was doing the cosmetic mods to my car, I got a quote for that part and it was some $1,400 plus painting.. I know either TM Tuning or oemplus.com have the primed GTI extension on their site somewhere and it was significantly cheaper..

Have you considered just blasting and painting over the stock part? My painter did some experimentation on my old bumper and the results weren't too bad. I'll post some pics as soon as I find the part...

But I hate you because you have a TFSI. A car I can't have.

Well I went to my dealership today and found a CC front on a Jetta. So obviously it was painted in the factory.

The sad part is it doens't have the hole in it for the GTI front lip which I have on my car so even if I bought one it wouldn't fit in there.

Oh well. Now I know.

Besides I can get a front and rear colour code for about $600 anyway.
