  • Spark plugs for a gti

    Hi Guys,
im wanting to change the spark plugs on my gti.
What do you guys reccommend, do i just go to the dealership and get standard ones that they fit or are there and wizz bang ones out there that will give me more performance,
i Have apr chip and quad exhaust system right through and also about to fit a cold air system, so performance is on top of the list..

How many Km's have you done and when does your service manual suggest you change them?

I had mine done on recent 60k service, wasnt THAT expensive from the dealer

Unless there is something wrong with the existing plugs you won't get any extra power from new ones.

IIRC there was thread about spark plugs a while back, some people were whinging about the high prices VW charge for them compared with interweb prices, others pointed out that there are counterfeit plugs out there. A Search should find the thread if you are interested.
