If you would like some cool tuning ideas for your Jetta, tune into Discovery channel *now* - there's a tuner challenge on 7:00pm - 7:30pm every Sunday - three teams, three cars - one is a MkV Jetta.

Don't know what they're going to do to be, but it sure will be interesting

Street Tuner Challenge - 7pm Sunday. Repeated at 12:00pm Monday, for those who either don't work or have a working VCR

I've recorded it in MPEG2 format, not that that's much use I guess...

I think it's an ongoing thing (every week) so you haven't missed much so far.
Three teams of guys have been given the job of customising/tuning three cars:
a Cobalt SS Supercharged (a GM car), a MkI GTR Skyline, and a MkV Jetta.

The Cobalt team is from GM's performance vehicles division (oh yeah), the Skyline team is from XS Engineering, and the Jetta team is from ABD (Autobahn Design Inc)

I think that the ABD guys have their work cut out - the Jetta is a 2.5 auto
Ok, it will probably be wearing a turbo pretty soon, but against a worked over Skyline?

The Cobalt and the Jetta were brand new, the Skyline obviously not...
Anyway, the first show just showed all three car being well and truely stripped down.
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see what they come up with...
