what have you moved onto for new car.

Not been on a very long time and needing a little info , Ive now had my Jetta since 2007 when I joined vwwatercooled and its time to move on and purchase something new,
however I cant seem to find anything that comes close , I love my Jetta TDI DSG and was wondering what you guys who have had the golf or Jetta have moved onto.
Car is currently at 450,000km and in that time all I've done to it is a new blinker stalk and starter motor and just regular service every 15,000km and gearbox every 60,000km
and timing belt water pump 120,000 , Im even getting 120,000km out of a set of tyres every time with Conti sport contacts.
Im not ready for the ev change as yet and want another diesel so that basically rules out VW , not after anything bigger than current Jetta.
Any ideas ??????

hey Neil,

We moved from our diesel Jetta MY06 to a MY21 Tiguan diesel 147 TDI and then added a 2nd one to our 'fleet' in 2023 with a MY23 version. His and hers identical cars!

They use a little more fuel than the Jetta did but are much more convenient to get in and out of. And have more space for our travel luggage too.

It's a pity that VW stopped the diesel variant in Australia but we got in at the right time before they ceased.
