Apr exhaust

I have had the APR quad tip installed to my GTi and i also have the chip.
I find it drones very badly around 2000-3000rpm..
Does anyone else have the same problem.
Im thinking about taking the exhaust sytem off. It has only been on the car for a week..
What other options are availabe??

quad tips? there is milltek and arqray.

normal dual tips there is awe tuning

Was this the APR RSC exhaust?
I haven't heard anyone say it drones.
Is the fitment ok? No leaks etc?

Earlier APR Exhausts were known to drone a bit. I think thats one of the reasons they released the RSC system.

I have the APR RSC TBE and it's a great exhaust!

No drone and i know its not what you want to hear but give it some time or

just have it looked at.Mine had some drone at the beginning for about a

month just wait till it beds in so to speak and it will be fine.

I'd take it back to whoever sold/installed it and let them have a look and listen to it. It may be improved with a bit of jiggling/adjustment to the joins and hangers.

Sorry but, is not that the sport sound? , you can try Remus or Magnaflow,

Theres a difference between sport sound and annoying as hell drone!!

I say keep the zorst and line the inside of the boot with sound absorbing felt, it will take away the headache too that will come with a long drive...
