had blue for a while, eyes get tired and blue doesn't give good light. now i've got all white leds except a middle one, which is just a normal globe (when i have led in the middle the lights don't come on sometimes, probably need a resistor), however when funds allow i'll order some warm white smds, as they have a greater operating voltage range and i'm over the ricey cool white.

PS: for footwells, just wire the led strips to a 12V socket. Me and Mischa wired them up in his GT and it works brilliant! He's got a write up in his thread

      I like the blue amrjon!

I might opt for white-blue for the reading lights, up top, and blue for the footwells. Don't really know how that will look, but I think blue lights up top might be a bit too frightful..

Will play around with a few options and see what people think.

FYI, a couple of nice DIYs I've come across for interior lighting.

Installing Front and Rear Dome lights

      Installing the Footwell lightbulbs

My red lights are excellent for vision and reading.

I can read very easily in cabin.

I can read using just my footwell lights lol.

Ever tried reading Warnings that are printed in red under a red light?

I did this with a 8 pc SMD blue light stripe on each foot well. Only works when doors are open.

Well I've got a delivery coming in, so when it does arrive I'll install the lights, and take some high res photos since this is purely an aesthetically driven mod =P
