VW Golf OEM MFD2 question??

Hi All,

I have a quick couple of question in regards my OEM MFD2 in my MY07R32,

Does anyone know if you can avoid road tolls paths??

I used to have a tomtom and used be able to choose not to pick the path with a road toll. Is that something you can configure on these things?
Also, anyone has the latest MAP CD's and what are the benefits? Improved maps, etc?? I am not quite sure what version I have but it’s an old one.

Out of curiosity did you find out anything about the new maps? Im in the same boat as you, using the MFD2 when i used to use a portable unit which seemed substantially better...

Hi Mate,

I use version 14 and it works well. No real issues...

Refering to my owners manual I have found the following;

Booklet 3.4 MFD DVD
Page. 33
Settings for route calculation
Route Options

This allows you to change the following;
Route (Fast / Short / Econ)
Motorway (Use / Avoid)
Ferry (Use / Avoid)
Toll (Use / Avoid)
TMC (Use / Avoid)
