Worked has shipped me off to Launceston for a week at this stage and was curious as to how many, if any, members were from Tasmania.

I know one of the directors here has a GTI, but havent seen many MKVs around.

Big Yellow, are you actually in Launnie at the moment?
I am travelling up there late friday after I close up. 2 hour drive. Am staying opposite the park in a motel there.
There is a large car show thing happening at the car museum, also near the park.
Be great to meet you, I am taking my new (ish) Caddy up for the show, the GTI is having a nice rest these days!
The southern VW club have organised a meal at the Commercial hotel on saturday night at 6.30.
Sunday is a drive out to Longford for a meal at the old Longford pub, a famous part of the old Grand Prix circuit. All the 60's F1 drivers have driven past this pub and the memorabiliar is great!

I'm boarding the Spirit of Tas on 3rd and will be back from Melbourne sailing on the 12th, so will be travering around that area if you're keen to meet up. the week in NZ was filled with sunshine and clear skies!! so damn nice! tas weather is damn miserable. at least i have a few of my young colleagues with me on this trip. gonna try find somewhere to get crunk HAHAHAHA
