Why would we sell data of a product we don't sell? (read above post, they come together as a pair - not separate).

Would you go out (with your extensive knowledge of GTI engines) and provide me with data of half a turbo kit installed?

yes i understand they come as a pair, but to prove your point in saying that the carbonio is a good intake, why cant you just put the foam filter in and test that for arguments sake?

Why don't we install half a brake upgrade on a car & test that too - makes about as much sense?

One stock brake on the left & a big Brembo on the right - should make for some good data by your reckoning.

Taking no sides, but if you were to support your product, and to say that its effective and dare i say a great product/design. Then it would still be just as effective (as a whole) with and without the other half.

because we would know the answer to that one LOL.

stop coming up with stupid comparisons. what i am asking is completely different to what you are suggesting.

to test the effectiveness of the intake, why not test the filtering element on its own, or the inlet element on its own. then we will know how effective each component is.

dont know why you are stuggling to comprehend that?

Is there something you can not comprehend? - show me ANY intake on the market where they test the piping WITHOUT the supplied filter element. Even the data on the other units mentioned the thread are tested as a unit (as supplied).

Any one at all will do. Would you test a VF intake without the heatshield provided even though they supply it as part of the kit? - Let me know.

yes i can comprehend 100% what you are saying. but why cant you test the intake scoop to see how effective it is over stock, and the filter to see how effective that is. and the carbonio doesnt have intake piping, that why i want to know how effective the scoop is by itself, and the filter is by itself. not that hard to understand!

hahaha and yes we would test the intake without the heatshield so WE CAN SEE HOW EFFECTIVE THE HEATSHIELD IS!!!!!!!! duh!!!!!!!!!

OK - no problem, post up your data & then we will go & test ours.

Did you test your modshack intake (datalog & power runs) with & without the filter element?

                      hahaha thats lame, guy.

why would i test my car with no filter at all.

im simply asking you to test stock filter with carbonio, and than supplied filter with stock inlet.

i didnt say test the car with NO filter.

and considering you a parts supplier with the tools and equipment to test and a workshop, i dont see whats so hard about it.

i am a private consumer, with no tools to do testing. so how can i go test.

                      jeez.

Nothing cooler than a bunch of volkswagenists getting ready to kick some serious ass.

The advertisers obviously know their demographic.

A bunch of hardarses we all are.. I just peed myself in anger that somebody dissed my intake! Better watch out, when I install my dual spark titanium plugs, I'm gonna own all you punks.
