Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

I prefer the ASA rims. The spokes are a bit too thin on the Bremmers

I like the Bremmers. The ASA's look exactly like Drift Teks (pictured below), should be left to jap imports.

Yeah, I think that too, with a low profile rubber should look awesome,

          Thanks!

Anything over 16s you're going to have issues with rubbing, or have a rub-free 4wd.

16s with good rubber easily the best option.

They do look a bit plain but i prefer the shape of the ASA's over the Bremmer's.
ASA's are much more pronounced and shapely, like the driftek's.

I would have gone something more euro but its not my car.

Hey man, now that you mention that, I would like that too, 'something more euro', but to be honest I don't like imitations like Audi or Porshe's wheels on VW's, I respect the tastes of every one but is not for me,

What do you mean with more euro? I like the concept,

                        Cheers!

I was thinking porsche, audi, merc or bmw replicas/reals but if you don't like imitating then you have to go for something from the vw line like gti wheels or something more sporty/euro/classy
