Fitting Aftermarket Rims R32, 2007 Model

Hey guys i profess to not being an expert on tyres or rims, as such but giving consideration to
replacing my stock 18" Zolder r32 rims with something aftermarket.

I've done a ton of research but think it is best if i sought the advice from
the more then helpful folk on this forum.

Basically i have my eye on some enkei's to be particular;

My question, is will these be a perfect fit;

From what i understand the OEM Zolder R32 rims are;

18" x 7.5 width, 51mm offset

Stud pattern: 5x112

Tyre Diameter: 225/40/18

================

The enkeis are;

18" x 7.5" 5/114.3 48 (offset)

So the only variable is the offset figure.

Will these be a perfect fit, id prefer not to have the wheels stick out
of the guard or basically not enough clearance for the brakes or suspension
components.

Am i to assume also that if i chose instead an 18" x 8" width rim style it would protrude?

Lastly, i read about the HUB centric ring, do you guys think they will be of the same diameter.

Will modifying the rims cause any havoc to the TPMS system?

I guess it would be comforting to know if anyone here has fitted ENKEI rims or these specific ones on their R32.

Your PCD (stud pattern) is different, that is more of an issue in this example than the offset. They won't fit being 5 x 114.3 on a 5 x 112 hub.

Just realised these rims don't come with 5x112 stud patterns unless you opt for the 8 width size rims. Which any case the specification is;

18" x 8" 5/112 50

So the only real variation to OEM rim is the width, offset is close to same.

How monumental an issue would be if i placed an order

I suggest that you alleviate your concerns by running the numbers through the offset calculator...

Provided my rims selection complies to the following, what kind of tolerance +/- can i have to the offset, without it affecting the handling and protruding outside or deep within the guards?

why would you want to replace the original R32 rims? they look awesome. anyways if you do upgrade let me know ill make an offer on the r32 ones

No doubt the Zolder rims make a fashion statement

Thinking id like a bit of a change as well, as they really are high maintenance rims, and if i get something more lightweight but still structurally sound it would serve as a slight performance "mod".

I have these exact rims on my S3 in the 8" version running 235 tyres & they fit perfectly.

They will be no problem on the R32 at all.

My advice, buy them off your local Enkei dealer (bought mine through Bob Jane T Marts) for your application - if they don't fit - return them

how much were they through Bob Jane?

Yeah i'd also like to know what bobjane offered, for those rims.

Called tyrepitstop.com.au but they had no stock. I think by calculations it came up to be about 2grand for a set with no tyres
