Jetta speakers

Are the Jetta rear bass speakers in the rear parcel shelf behind the back seats, or in the doors?
Is the soundsystem any good in the Jetta?

My Camry has an awesome standard sound system. Just hoping the Jetta will be as good.

What's good in your terms? Coming from a Mk4 Bora, the Jetta is nowhere near as good.

The speakers for the Jetta are all on the doors.. The system isn't bad, it's got some good base response (e.g. Boom Boom Pow) and is pretty good if you want to have it say half way up..

Good bass is important to me, so that's good to hear.
I have made a mp3 cd for the trip home. First song - Diesel Power by The Prodigy!

As long as the song itself is of good quality, you shouldn't have a problem. Aux input isn't too bad either bit I think it loses a bit of the response. Best thing about mp3 CDs is that you can see the song title on the HU screen

Well, not as good as the camry IMHO. It's more midrangey, and the highs certainly aren't as crisp.
Bass is good though.
Don't get me wrong though, it's a sweet sounding system!

I'm sure I'll get used to it!
