  • Rate these wheels - anyone seen them on a MkV?

Seeing as my preferred wheels have become unavailable, the urgency's gone.

I'm interested in your opinion of this wheel on a MkV:

It's a trade-in, sans tyres but it would be interesting to discuss newer Audi and VW (and perhaps Skoda) wheels and how they look on dark Mk Vs (if you can imagine with a VW badge). This one's an 18x8 from the A5.

    Thanks for your comments!

I don't mind them, very different. Someone should shop them onto a GTI.

I think they'll look quite good on a MkV GTI. The design is quite like the 'disguised' R20T. Maybe its a hint on what the R20T's wheel would look like...

          looks "ok"

nice job on the chop, though i think they look more 19, than 18.

personally id black em out for a better look.

I just copied them over the stock blade wheels from the picture so i didn't go for a "size"

Blacked out would look okay but i reckon gunmetal would top it off so you still get the detail of the wheels.

as far as i know, they're the wrong offset and will stick out way too far.

They look wonderfully artistic, I really like them

They're still 18x8, surely you shouldn't have to many rubbing issues??

I've got 18x8s on my car and have no problems at all.

But I like them. They're gonna look unique on a Mk5 without having too much of an "out there" appeal

EDIT: Let me confirm that lack of rubbing after I get my car lowered...

They would look sick on an Eos! Even perhaps a Mk6..
