Oh yes, bring it on. This will put so much smack talk to bed in the current-model VAG community.

Would love to see the apmitchell HPA turbo R32 in the mix.
As well as Hong's, GTILIN's tuned machines up against the APR crew.
I hope those guys can make the time to be there - after all, APR have thrown down the gauntlet!

I always seem to buy one copy of Motor magazine each year... now I've got something to look forward to.

I'm sure Motor Magazine have tested a few cars over the past 40 odd years to know what they are doing!

There have been a few 'incidents' Most recent I am aware of involved a Suzuki and one of the camera cars. They published it, which was a good thing.

This should be a good event, although I do have concerns about the high likelihood of people claiming other people's cars aren't ADR compliant. This is chip wars writ large . There needs to be an independent arbitrator whose authority is final ... and event then, people will grumble

but the spread was covered in Motor with him holding the piece of the front bumper walking away from the wreck LOL

Hopefully it will be a success & they will run it again.

I think as far as the "Registration rules" go, it will be to simply front up with a fully legally registered car. Certainly most mods can be covered with an engineers certificate, so I do not think there will be too many problems there.

Wonder if "Rally Registration" counts? Polo S2000 would be a good addition

Does anyone have a list of all the cars/tuners who have entered? I'm really interested to see what mods the GTR has done.

This sounds really interesting and would love to hear of updates from each day.

More likely December. It took them a few months to get the article about the VW Nationals into the mag - there's a lot of lead-time in putting each edition together, they tend to have articles ready a few months in advance.
