Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    New Jetta TDI

    Well, well, well ......it's now officially "mid size" car of the year as voted by ALL motoring associations in the country (not by journalists given a car fir a while to influence their decision)...not bad. After driving one for three months I can understand why.

    VW did well ...Polo.....best small car.
    Jetta....best mid size car.
    Golf GTI....best sports car.

    Any webpage you can point us towards to back this claim up? I've been searching the web and the only "Car of the year" reports I've been able to find say the Honda Accord Euro is the Mid Size car of the year.

    we've done over 7,000KM in our TDI now since September and we're very happy with it.
