R32 Instrument cluster needle light

tried searching, but no luck or not hard enough


but my question is, in the R32, is there a VAG-COM setting to have the needles light up all the time (when the headlights are off etc).

Noticed last night in the Pirelli edition, as well as a normal GTI, that the GTI needles are always on, even when the light switch was set to off.

anyone know if this can be done on R32? or is my car stuffed LOL

would also be interested in this.. was parked next to a 7 series BMW today at the lights and noticed his needles were nice and bright

i feel like a tool driving with headlights on during daytime around the suburbs!

I did, no luck.
I was also re looking for the light in the dash to show low beam is on but there is no pos for it on ours, (tells when lights are on without trying to see needles lit up which are hard to see in daylight)
Audis have this function on similar chassis.

ahhh k, i guess it must be a GTI only thing

PS: you can tell if low beams are on from the light switch. theres like a little light at the top of the switch.

green light = head lights off

red light = head lights on
