Hey Guys,
Dumb question time now. Been thinking about getting a tow bar fitted to the Golf. Really only need it to put a bike rack - not for towing (which is why i'd probably not get the wiring loom fitted).
What i would like to know is on the Mark V, where does the tongue of the tow bar protrude? There doesn't seem to be a port plug in the rear bumper bar where it would come through. Does it come from beneath the vehicle or do they have to cut a hole through my new bumper? Not something i really want to do...
To me, the car appears too low for the tow bar tongue to come from underneath...
Any thoughts from you guys?
Cheers,
Mark
