Hey fellas,

Im relatively new to the VW scene and just wanted to know what one of these does stock down the quater?

What mods, and price tags can also up the performance of them also?

Not sure on the 1/4 mile, but 7.2s 0-100km/h on the manual IIRC, with the DSG being slightly quicker.

Easy power to be made through reflashing the ECU for ~$1,000 (APR, GIAC, BlueFin, Custom-Code, etc), can go further and make further hardware/software mods for even more power.

I thought 0-100km/h was in the mid 6s?

Redbook says 7.2s for the 6-speed manual 3-door, 6.9s for the DSG.

They list the same times for the 5-door version.

You must be looking at the red Golf figures, obviously faster than the rest.
