I've got to drive out the Gawler tonight, i'll be removing the vacuum hose before i leave.
I must admit though that i kind of like the fact that at low revs the she doesn't scream too loud. Problem is i like the sound so much that i look for revs to get my kicks.
Removing the hose may save me a lot of $ on fuel i think.
Pull hose, push a small sinker or bearing in it, slide back onto valve... OR
do as I did, cut hose under left rear side, put inline joiner in hose that has been filled. Makes easy to put back by replacing joiner with unfilled one if you need to.
Did it this way as some hoses are hard to get off valve.
