Just wondering if I can remove the perspex/dealer advertisement covering on top of my euro plates and around, looks like its just held in with clips....the euro plate can normally be attached without any sort of cover?

You should be able to remove the housing no problems. And unless the plate has an actual mount behind it, it should be drilled straight into the car.
Be careful though - depending on how long the case has been on, it may leave some spongy residue on your actual plate which doesn't come off (speaking from experience).2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

Don''t know if NSW euro plates are like VIC ons but you need a plate holder unless you plan to drill holes into you plates as the plates don't come with any mounting points.Originally posted by Preen59It doesn't matter what car you drive.. I made holes in mine using the existing plate as a template... I'd prefer the use screws over tape. I always have the idea that it's more securely fastened.2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon
