  • Euro plate mounting

Just wondering if I can remove the perspex/dealer advertisement covering on top of my euro plates and around, looks like its just held in with clips....the euro plate can normally be attached without any sort of cover?

You should be able to remove the housing no problems. And unless the plate has an actual mount behind it, it should be drilled straight into the car.

Be careful though - depending on how long the case has been on, it may leave some spongy residue on your actual plate which doesn't come off (speaking from experience).

Don''t know if NSW euro plates are like VIC ons but you need a plate holder unless you plan to drill holes into you plates as the plates don't come with any mounting points.

...or use a quality double sided tape.

I made holes in mine using the existing plate as a template... I'd prefer the use screws over tape. I always have the idea that it's more securely fastened.
