Looks great mate, perhaps just get a new bonnet with a little overhang on the headlights? Just an idea..

And hey! We bought our car from the same place... And judging by the plates, not too far apart either!

Looks tougher, doesnt the number plate position block flow to the radiator, intercooler and condensor?

Nooooo. Some things just don't light my fire, but I'm afraid this puts my fire out.

I can see why VW would have rejected that variation in the dozens they would have sketched before settling for the production version.

To each his own, though. Variation is the spice of life

Yeah I reckon it's great like this.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the MkV "goatee" look.
I don't have a beard. Why should my car?

                    Killz.... LOL HI haters indeed...

you know what its like... dare to be different but enjoy the hate... but its all good... each to there own..

sometimes being the first conditions everyone.. i love the mod and since i did the conversion and mod myself, i am stoked it worked out... if people knew whats involved, i think they wouldnt surprised its not simpley removing the badge.. if anyone has looked closely at the front grill or even taken it off, its not a twist it out and your done...

anyways... thanks everyone... i am looking at filling the notch and also changing it up a little more... im not 100% happy with it just yet but will be soon....

another pic from yesterday to get the overall flow of the car..

Looks like someone stole your badge. Sorry I don't really like it but then again its not my car.

If it wasnt for the bonnet cutout then it would look ok but the bonnet cutout makes it look a bit pox.
OVerall the front does look better now that youve cleaned all the white bird crap off the front inset

I don't mind it, once the notch is filled and you've put your finishing touches on it it'll look much better.

I think it looks a lot better than before, and I like people who are willing to try something outside the norm. Good on ya! Nice to have different looking GTI's out there. Slimline front plate dude, you're gonna hotspot a chunk of your intercooler!
