revs check on MKV

hi guys,
just a quick one, I am trying to do a revs check on a mkV (pacific) and the revs check keeps coming up with mismatch identifier.

Am I correct in thinking that the engine number is the WVWZZZ1KZ....... number
and the VIN is the 170791... number?

W*** is VIN
The other is engine as far as I know.

Don't be surprised if the REVS info is wrong. The RTA says I have a Red 2.0 FSI: well, the SI badges are red, and the interior lighting, but not much else...

I just received my registration renewal and it states the car has the 1984cc engine (the RTA also thinks the car is 'red', according to the REVS web site).

The RTA says the dealer needs to correct the info; the dealer says it was a mistake by the RTA who have done this before and seem to have been 'confused' by the GT Sport because it was a 'special run'; the RTA says it won't correct the details unless I get an RTA inspection; and the dealer has agreed to contact the RTA to tell them to correct the details.

I'l still waiting for the dealer to do anything...
