You can view the topics and indexes free but need a minimum subscription of 21 Euro for 24 hours access to be able to print the manuals. You can't save the files electronically, only print them. Before you pay your money make sure you have your pdf reader up to date and have the Oracle IRM installed properly as per the instructions otherwise the printable documents won't load.
I have the haynes manual for the MKV golf and jetta. It is nothing special. A lot of the engine sections say 'take it to a dealer as its too hard'.
The american manuals are much better, but they don't cover my engine (BKD).
The haynes manual for bodywork (i.e. how to disassemble your car) is OK. Haynes produce their books by disassembling a car, whereas the american (Bentley?) books are produced by VAG.
I bought it online from a bookshop in Perth that specialises in car stuff.

So just trying to find manuals on Erwin to suit my Golf, but can’t find them engine code. It’s a 2007 mk5 2.0 Tdi manual. I have a BKD engine I’m fairly sure? And the model is a 1K, maybe even 1K1? But when I select the engine I can’t find any mention on the whole site of a BKD? What am I missing?
