A little birdy tells me these 18" polished rims, as shown on the US spec GTI above, (unsure of correct model name) are now available through parts in Australia. Not sure if, or when, they can be optioned on a new car though???

oh here they comes finally... back in my country for a Mk5 GTI there is no such options... coz they came with it
and xenons ...everything except GPS

Guessing you're American, where they also come standard with SUV suspension.

This option has been avaliable on the MK5's for a while. When you option the 18's you also get the little flare extentions on the wheel arches
