Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

Remember the Sydney crew will be at the nationals this weekend. There is a great diy in the FAQ thread of the mkv forum.

    Good luck!

thanks, i have read the various install guides, and im not confident enough to tackle it myself.

if i cant find anyone, ill probably just end up paying for the install.

I thought you were going to do it yourself? It seems a lot easier in the pictures doesn't it

i did consider doing it myself, but im just not 100% confident, that's all.

i must have been living under a rock too, as i had no idea about the show and shine either.
ill go have a look at that, as im only 5 minutes away from the site....

It sure looked easy in Youtube but when the technician was stripping down the front panel, I was glad I did not try DIY at home. The removal of the panels is tricky ! Was glad to pay the A$40 for the installation.
