There are a few things going on here. This thread is not really a readers ride thread as it is not the OP's car - so it is being moved to MKV forum.

As for the taste and style, I have been watching this thread and was expecting a little more trouble than has occurred. Yes it is not everyones taste - but that is what diversity is about and the owner and his car should be no less welcome than me painting my mk1 with rattle cans in the driveway.

To the owner of the car, please, if you are looking for trouble - ask for your mate to remove your car from the forum. It is a car that is designed to make a statement. Some people won't like it. I am sure that at a Salon - there will be people that also don't like it and may comment on it - would you arc up and take a swing at them? In reality - I am removing your phone number from the forum - as more personal information may lead to trouble of a kind you are not looking for. Best of luck with the future mods, and maybe post up some pics before and after and some discussion of your future plans for the car.
