  • Jetta TFSI - great all rounder

Today we headed off to a lake near BNE for a BBQ. As it's popular, we took a lot of stuff. First plus - the enormous boot swallowed a gazebo, folding tables, 4 camp chairs, big esky, small gas BBQ, plus a few other bags of food and kid stuff (I have a 2 y.o.). Perfect

Hitting the road, there was a bit of traffic (long weekend here in Qld) and spent a bit of time overtaking. Up hills even with the load overtaking was effortless. Love that 2.0T engine

All up it was a 250km round trip, which used about 1/3 of a tank of fuel.

Ride quality over secondary roads was great - only thing was it crashed thru 1 or 2 big potholes but with the 18s I guess that's to be expected. Did plenty of fast corners (signposted at 40 km/h, just left the cruise on 100) without a problem.

2 years on, this car still impresses

    I agree

I have only had mine for 4 months but I am loving it more each day. This is my first Euro car and I probably wont buy Japanese again.

The Jetta TFSI doesnt come in diesel you would have to downgrade to the TDI
